Getting started
What is Horus Games and how do I start playing?
Horus Games is a free social casino in your browser, set in Ancient Egypt. There’s nothing to download and no money involved: you play with virtual coins only.
Choose Play as guest on the home page or sign up with your email. You’ll arrive in the lobby with 10,000 coins. Pick Treasures of Horus or Pharaoh’s Tomb, set your bet and spin. Horus Games is for adults 18+.
Can I play without signing up?
Yes. Choose Play as guest and you’re in the lobby right away — no email, no password.
A guest profile is saved only in this browser on this device. If you clear your browser data, the progress is lost. To keep a copy, use Download progress backup in your profile. For progress that follows you to any device, create a free account: account progress is saved in the cloud.
What can I find in the lobby?
The lobby is your base camp. You arrive here after you choose to play as guest or sign in. Inside you’ll find:
- an endless row of game cards — open one to play;
- the daily gift, “A new gift every day”;
- your level on “The explorer’s journey” and the “First expedition” mission;
- your favorites and the “Book of discoveries” with your achievements;
- your profile, language and sound settings.
Rewards for new levels are paid here when you come back from a game. Details about each game are on the Games page.
Can I play on my phone, tablet or computer?
Yes. Horus Games runs in desktop and mobile browsers, and there’s no app to install.
The games open full screen, work only in landscape orientation and need a browser with WebGL — see “Technical help” below for details.
A guest profile stays on one device. With an account, sign in on any phone, tablet or computer and continue where you left off: the cloud save brings back your balance, levels and the state of both games.
How do I change the language?
The website and both games are available in Russian, English and Spanish. To switch, use the language switcher in the site header or the language setting in the lobby.
Your choice is remembered in this browser. If you have an account, it’s also saved as your preferred language. Changing the language never affects your coins, levels or game progress.
Account and sign-in
How do I create an account?
Open Sign up and fill in:
- your email address;
- a password of at least 8 characters;
- an explorer name — optional, up to 24 characters (leave it empty and you’ll be “Explorer”);
- the required checkbox confirming that you’re 18 or older and accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
Registration is by email only: Google, Facebook and Apple sign-in are not available. It’s free, and we never ask for payment details.
I didn’t get the confirmation email. What should I do?
After sign-up we send a confirmation link to your email. It’s valid for 24 hours. If it hasn’t arrived:
- check your spam or junk folder;
- make sure you typed the address correctly;
- request a new confirmation email — the link can be re-sent.
Confirming your address unlocks the +5,000-coin welcome bonus (once per account). Unconfirmed accounts are deleted after 30 days. Still nothing? Write to [email protected].
How do I sign in? Can I use Google or Facebook?
Open Sign in and enter your account email and password. Signing in with Google, Facebook or Apple is not available — email only.
Once you’re in, your cloud save is restored, so you continue where you left off on any device. On a shared computer, sign out when you’re done. Forgot to? Your account page lets you sign out on all devices at once.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Open Forgot password and enter your account email. We’ll send you a reset link that is valid for 1 hour. Follow it and choose a new password of at least 8 characters.
If the link has expired, just request a new one. Can’t find the email? Check your spam folder. If you remember your password and simply want a new one, change it on your account page.
How does cloud save work, and which progress is kept?
When you’re signed in, your progress — balance, spins, wins, bonus timers, settings and the state of both games — is stored on our server. It syncs in the lobby, every few seconds during play and when you close a page, and it’s restored on any device after you sign in.
If this device already has guest progress and your account has progress too, you choose which one to keep.
Signing out resets this device to a fresh guest profile. Your account progress stays safe in the cloud until you sign in again.
How do I delete my account?
Open your account page, choose to delete the account and confirm with your password. Deletion is permanent: the account, its coins and progress can’t be restored.
Your data is removed from our live database immediately; server backups, if any, roll over within 30 days. Can’t sign in? Write to [email protected] — we answer within 30 days. A guest profile has no account: to remove it, clear your browser data for horusgames.com.
Free coins
What are all the ways to get free coins?
Every coin in Horus Games is free:
- 10,000 to start, for every new profile;
- +5,000 welcome bonus after you confirm your email (once per account);
- +2,500 daily gift in the lobby, every 24 hours;
- +1,000 for the “First expedition” mission after your first 10 spins;
- +500 for each new level, one every 20 spins;
- 200 × 2 blessings: open “Game details” on the Tomb of Anubis and Gates of Ra cards, once each;
- +1,000 whenever your balance falls below 100;
- free spins inside the games.
More on the Free coins page.
When can I collect the daily gift again?
The daily gift, “A new gift every day”, gives you 2,500 coins in the lobby once every 24 hours. The countdown starts when you collect it, so the next gift is ready 24 hours later — not at midnight.
Bonus timers are part of your progress. As a guest, they’re kept in this browser. With an account, they’re saved in the cloud and follow you to any device you sign in on.
Can I buy coins or cash out my winnings?
No. Horus Games has no purchases, no payments, no coin store and no subscriptions, and we never ask for payment details. Coins are virtual and free, with no monetary value. They can’t be bought, sold, transferred to other players, exchanged for money or prizes, or withdrawn.
The games are intended for adults, for amusement only. They don’t offer real-money gambling or a chance to win real money or prizes, and success here doesn’t imply future success at real-money gambling.
I ran out of coins. What now?
No problem. Whenever your balance falls below the minimum bet of 100 coins, you can collect 1,000 free coins and keep playing.
Other ways to top up:
- collect the daily gift in the lobby if 24 hours have passed;
- return to the lobby to receive rewards for new levels;
- claim the “First expedition” reward in the lobby after your first 10 spins.
Tip: a smaller bet makes your coins last longer.
How do levels and ranks work?
Every spin moves you along “The explorer’s journey”. You reach a new level every 20 spins — spins in both games count — and each level brings +500 coins. The reward is paid when you return to the lobby, for up to 5 levels at once, so drop by now and then.
Ranks: Wanderer (levels 1–2), Seeker (3–5), Guardian (6–10) and Legend (11+). Your achievements are collected in the “Book of discoveries”. Learn more on the Rewards page.
Games and rules
How do paylines and 243 ways to win work?
Treasures of Horus has 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 fixed paylines; your total bet is split across them. A line wins with 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols in a row, starting from the first reel on the left, and only the best combination on each line pays. The winged sun WILD replaces any regular symbol except the Pyramid.
Pharaoh’s Tomb uses 243 ways to win: matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the left, pay in any row. The temple gates WILD replaces regular symbols.
How do I get free spins?
In Treasures of Horus, the Pyramid scatter pays anywhere on the reels. 3, 4 or 5+ pyramids pay ×2, ×5 or ×20 your total bet and award 8, 12 or 16 free spins — Gift of Horus. Free spins keep the original bet and can be retriggered by new pyramids.
In Pharaoh’s Tomb, golden scarabs fill a meter. Collect 10 scarabs to get 10 free spins with a ×2 multiplier.
How does the Treasury bonus in Pharaoh’s Tomb work?
Land 3 or more treasure chests in Pharaoh’s Tomb to open the Treasury, a pick bonus. Pick gold coins one by one until three matching jackpots appear — that jackpot is yours:
- GRAND — ×1,000 the bet;
- MAJOR — ×150;
- MINOR — ×30;
- MINI — ×10.
Like every win here, jackpots are paid in virtual coins with no cash value.
What does RTP mean, and is every spin random?
RTP (return to player) is the theoretical share of all bets that a game pays back as wins over a very long run: about 94.3% in Treasures of Horus and 95.45% in Pharaoh’s Tomb. It’s a long-run average, not a promise for any session.
Every spin is independent. Results come from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, and the outcome is decided before the animation starts. There are no “hot” or “cold” machines: past spins never influence the next one.
How do autoplay, turbo and keyboard shortcuts work?
In Treasures of Horus, autoplay runs 10, 25, 50 or 100 spins and stops if a dialog opens, you leave the page or your balance runs low. Turbo speeds up the spins, and pressing SPIN again stops the reels right away.
Keyboard shortcuts in Treasures of Horus:
- Space or Enter — spin; ↑/↓ — change the bet;
- A — autoplay; T — turbo; I — paytable;
- M — menu; F — full screen; Esc — close.
Pharaoh’s Tomb also has autoplay, turbo and max bet.
Technical help
Why does the game ask me to rotate my device?
Both games open full screen and work only in landscape orientation. If you hold your phone upright, the game asks you to turn it sideways.
If the screen doesn’t rotate:
- turn off the rotation lock (enable auto-rotate) in your phone’s quick settings;
- on a computer, make the browser window wider than it is tall.
Turning your device never affects your balance or progress.
The game won’t load or shows a WebGL message. What can I do?
Our games are real-time 3D scenes and need a browser with WebGL. We recommend an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with hardware acceleration turned on.
- Update your browser to the latest version.
- Turn on hardware (graphics) acceleration in the browser settings and restart the browser.
- Close other heavy tabs and reload the page.
- Try another of the recommended browsers.
Still stuck? Write to [email protected] and tell us your device and browser.
How do I turn the sound or music on or off?
In the lobby, use the sound button. In a game, tap the sound button on the control panel, or open the menu (M on a keyboard) to switch sound effects and music on or off separately.
Your choice is saved with your progress. No sound at all? Make sure your device isn’t muted, then tap the screen once: browsers only start audio after you interact with the page.
The game runs slowly or my phone gets hot. What helps?
The games are full 3D scenes, so they ask more of your device than an ordinary web page. To make them run smoother:
- close other tabs and apps;
- update your browser and keep hardware acceleration on;
- plug in your laptop or turn off battery saver mode.
If your device’s reduced-motion setting is on, the games skip screen shake and spin the reels faster. Reloading the page is safe — your progress stays saved. See also our accessibility statement.
My progress is gone. Can I get it back?
A guest profile lives only in the browser where you created it. It disappears when you clear browser data, and it isn’t available in another browser, on another device or in a private window.
- If you downloaded a backup file, open your profile in the lobby and choose Restore from backup. This replaces the progress currently in this browser.
- If you have an account, just sign in and your cloud save comes back.
Without a backup or an account, lost guest progress can’t be recovered: it never reaches our server. Download a backup now and then, or create an account.
Privacy and data
What personal data do you collect?
Guest progress stays in your browser and never reaches us. For an account, we store your email, a password hash (never the password itself), explorer name, preferred language, dates of registration, last sign-in and email confirmation, welcome-bonus status and your cloud save.
To stop abuse, we log the IP address and time of sign-in, sign-up, password-reset and contact-form attempts and delete them after 24 hours; our hosting server also keeps standard access logs. Support messages are kept up to 12 months after we answer. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no selling of data. Details: Privacy Policy.
Do you use cookies?
Only one, and only after you sign in: hg_session, a strictly necessary cookie that keeps you signed in. It’s HttpOnly (scripts can’t read it) and valid for 30 days. There are no analytics, advertising or social-media cookies.
Your game profile, game states and language are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. Clearing it resets a guest profile, so download a backup first. The full list is in our Cookie Policy.
How can I access, download or delete my data?
You can access, correct, delete and port your data, restrict or object to its processing, and complain to a data protection authority. We offer these rights to everyone, wherever you live.
- Delete: use the button on your account page.
- Download: save a progress backup file from your profile; we’ll send your account data on request.
- Anything else: write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
Responsible play
Why is Horus Games for adults only?
Horus Games is for adults 18+, or the age of majority in your country if it’s higher. Even without real money, casino-style games are not meant for children, and if we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we delete it.
Parents: use your device’s parental controls to limit access. The games are for amusement only, and success here doesn’t imply future success at real-money gambling.
What is the 30-minute break reminder?
After 30 minutes of continuous play, both games show a friendly reminder to take a break. Close it to keep playing, or take the hint: stand up, stretch and rest your eyes.
You can stop at any time — your progress is saved, and the temple will wait for you. If you notice you’re playing longer than you planned, read our tips on Responsible play.
Where can I get help if playing stops being fun?
Stop when it’s no longer fun. You can take a break, delete your account or clear your browser data to remove a guest profile.
