1. Our approach
Horus Games is entertainment. Our games are free social casino games for adults: there is no real-money gambling, nothing can be bought, and you cannot win money or real prizes. Coins are virtual and free, have no monetary value and can never be sold, transferred, exchanged or withdrawn.
The service is for adults aged 18 or over, or the age of majority in your country if it is higher. Practice or success at social casino games does not imply future success at real-money gambling: a lucky streak in Treasures of Horus or Pharaoh’s Tomb is chance, not a skill you can take to a casino.
We also do not compete for your attention: we send no marketing emails or newsletters and show no advertising.
2. Tips to keep it fun
- Decide how long you will play. Pick a time before you start and stop when it comes, whether you are winning or not.
- Play when you feel good. Avoid playing when you are upset, tired or trying to escape your worries.
- Take regular breaks. Stand up, stretch and rest your eyes.
- Keep a balance. Games are best as one pleasure among many, next to friends, rest, sport and sleep.
- Don’t chase. Every spin is independent, and there are no “hot” or “cold” machines. A run of losses does not bring a win any closer.
- Watch the pace. Autoplay and turbo make play faster, and time passes faster too. If you use autoplay, choose a small number of spins, such as 10.
- Treat a low balance as a pause. When your coins run low, it is a natural moment to stop for the day.
- The daily gift is not a duty. You don’t have to come back every day. Play when you want to.
3. The 30-minute reminder
Treasures of Horus and Pharaoh’s Tomb both show a reminder after 30 minutes of continuous play. It is a gentle nudge, not a judgment. When it appears, ask yourself a few questions. Am I still enjoying this? Have I played longer than I planned? Is there something else I wanted to do today?
If the fun has faded or you have played longer than you meant to, it is a good moment to close the game. Your progress is saved, and the temple will still be there tomorrow.
4. Signs that play is no longer fun
Pay attention if you notice any of these:
- you often play much longer than you planned or find it hard to stop;
- you keep thinking about the game while doing other things, or feel irritable when you can’t play;
- playing affects your sleep, work, studies or time with the people close to you;
- you play to escape stress, loneliness or a low mood;
- you hide from others how much time you spend playing;
- you feel tempted to gamble with real money because you are doing well in our games;
- you gamble with real money elsewhere and spend more than you can afford, or borrow to keep going.
These signs don’t mean something is wrong with you. They mean it is time for a break and, if that is hard to manage alone, for a conversation with someone who can help. Asking for support is a strong step, not a weakness.
5. Taking a break
You can stop at any time. There is nothing to cash out and nothing to lose by leaving.
- A short break. Close the game or the browser tab. Your progress stays saved.
- A longer break. Use the screen-time or site-blocking tools of your device or browser to limit access to horusgames.com. If you have an account, also sign out on your account page.
- For good, with an account. Delete your account on the account page. Deletion is permanent and requires your password; your coins and progress cannot be restored.
- For good, as a guest. Clear this site’s data in your browser. This deletes the guest profile from the device; our Cookie Policy explains how.
If staying away is harder than you expected, that is a reason to reach out for support, not a reason to feel ashamed.
6. Protecting minors
Horus Games is not intended for anyone under 18. To create an account, players must confirm that they are 18 or older, and we delete the accounts of minors when we learn about them.
If children use your phone, tablet or computer:
- turn on the parental controls of your device or browser to block websites that are not suitable for their age;
- keep your password to yourself and sign out after playing;
- don’t leave a game open on a shared device;
- explain that casino-style games, even free ones, are made for adults.
If you believe someone under 18 is using Horus Games, write to us at [email protected].
