First light over the pyramid
Gates of Ra is one of the two games we are preparing next, and it is planned as the brightest chapter of the temple. If Tomb of Anubis leads underground, this one climbs toward the sun. The scene we have in mind is the moment of sunrise: the first rays touch the golden peak of a pyramid, and Ra, the sun god, rises above it.
In Egyptian myth, Ra sailed across the sky by day, passed through the underworld at night and was reborn every morning at dawn: a fitting patron for a game about light and new beginnings. Where Treasures of Horus pays along lines and Pharaoh’s Tomb pays by ways, Gates of Ra is planned with cluster pays, in which matching symbols that touch each other form a winning group.
The sun itself is planned to play a part, with sun multipliers from ×2 to ×50 that can multiply a win. The highlight we are designing is the Gift of Dawn, a bonus round with guaranteed golden tablets.
Everything on this page describes plans, not a finished game. Features, numbers and rules may change before release, and the full paytable will be published when the game opens. Until then, Gates of Ra cannot be played. Like everything on Horus Games, it will be free, with virtual coins and nothing to buy.
