Devil's Dice: a new demo and a seal shaped like a star
In the new free demo of our horror dice game, the seal is a wooden star by your left hand: it smoulders, crumbles to ash and drifts as smoke into the skull.
The seal in Devil's Dice guards against one blow: it burns first, and only then do the flames of your soul go out. It began as a button with a thirty-second timer, then became a brass cross; now it is a small wooden star in a ring, point down, by your left hand. There is one seal, not two — two counters only confused players.
It burns without flame: at the studio we wanted it to “simply glow and turn to ash”. The wood blackens, cracks and cools into grey ash, and the smoke drifts into the skull. On your turn you set a new one, and the whole table sees who is still protected. In the new demo, dice swept into the cup no longer pass through your palm, either.
