Anubis City: the city on the Nile gets a website of its own

Twenty-seven pages in English and Russian: a walk round the city, its music, a poker school, a roadmap and honest “soon” labels on everything still being built.

The pixel city on the Nile now has a website of its own: twenty-seven pages in English and Russian. We wanted it to feel like the city itself — night over the Nile, papyrus, gold and lapis. Every picture comes straight from the game, residents stroll and dance across the pages, and a “Listen to the city” button plays the same oud and qanun music you hear in the square.

For newcomers to poker there is a school with hands, rules and an odds calculator. What mattered most, though, was honesty. Everything still being built is marked “soon”, there are no invented reviews, every page says no real money is involved, and the roadmap lists what comes next: levels, friends, a club and a home of your own.
