About the game

Alchimic The Alchemist's Workshop

Alchimic is a first-person medieval alchemy simulator. Altburg, a German town around 1400. Your master Erasmus, they say, left in the night with a pack, heading south, and the shop fell to his apprentice. Townsfolk still ring the bell at the service window asking for Erasmus — now you answer.

Hans of the Crooked Jug opposite is nursing a wedding hangover; Lukas the scribe is shaking before his exam at the town hall; Martha the widow's son has coughed for three nights. A few questions bring out what they left unsaid: the scribe mustn't fall asleep, and the seven-year-old spits out anything bitter and only takes medicine with honey.

You brew by hand, in real time: weigh herbs on scales, grind them in the mortar, tend the fire and run the still. The finished bottle goes on the sill, and the customer lays down silver. Get it wrong, and they'll go to Krebs at the pricey Golden Mortar.

This is a presentation page: the game itself does not run on this site.
