Anubis City
A social online game in pixel-art ancient Egypt: an evening city on the Nile, pyramids across the river, Anubis above the square and people to chat with.
Anubis City The City of Anubis
Anubis City is a social online game in pixel-art ancient Egypt: a city on the Nile where it is always evening. The sky fades from indigo to sunset gold, pyramids glow across the river, feluccas glide by, and Anubis the Guardian watches over the square.
People come here to stroll and talk. You create a hero — skin tone, hairstyle, jewellery — then step into the square to wave, dance, laugh and chat. Twenty-four residents wander the streets and return your greetings. The Temple of Fortune, with its poker table, is the first of seven buildings to open; a dance club, a home of your own from a reed hut to a pyramid, and dynasties with their own pharaoh come next.
The city sounds alive: the fountain splashes, a kite cries over the Nile, and oud, qanun and ney play in Egyptian modes. Coins are virtual only — debens, as in ancient Egypt — and can’t be cashed out.
This is a presentation page: the game itself does not run on this site.
